Brokers set sights on Sydney
The National Insurance Brokers Association’s (NIBA) annual convention comes to the heart of the financial services industry next weekend when nearly 900 delegates pack the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre to hear 54 speakers at 35 sessions over three days.
The program features an unprecedented number of educational sessions as well as leaders like former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett, Wallabies rugby union coach and Vero ambassador Robbie Deans, trumpet legend James Morrison and Allianz director Clem Booth.
Entertainer Andrew Daddo will be MC for the convention.
NIBA has decided to maximise the industry-wide opportunities, throwing open the doors next Monday afternoon to showcase insurance careers to school, university and college students.
CEO Noel Pettersen says the convention will be the biggest general insurance event ever held in Sydney, and entertainment each night will feature the best that Sydney has to offer.
“Sydney has a huge number of attractions, not only for those who live in the area but importantly for interstate delegates,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
