Best value car insurers named
Independent financial information provider Cannex has named AAMI, Budget Direct and CommInsure as the best value car insurers in Australia.
Cannex surveyed car insurance products across six states using eight driver profiles.
“AAMI, Budget Direct and CommInsure proved once again that their commitment to what is increasingly becoming a highly competitive market is solid and unwavering,” a statement said.
Despite CommInsure’s failure to win any individual category, a spokesman said the insurer was recognised “because in just about every category they were right up there”.
Best value insurers in each state are as follows:
NSW: Budget Direct and NRMA Insurance; Victoria: AAMI and Budget Direct; Queensland: Budget Direct and NRMA Insurance; WA: Allianz Australia and Budget Direct; SA: Allianz Australia and Budget Direct; Tasmania: Allianz Australia and Budget Direct.
