With the summer holiday now just a memory, a number of industry groups are already advertising upcoming annual conferences.

The Regional Insurance Brokers Association (RIBA) will hold its annual conference at Moama, NSW, from March 28-30. Key speakers will include National Insurance Brokers Association President Frank Earl and CGU Group Executive Distribution Bob Wagstaffe.

Other upcoming conferences include the Steadfast annual convention in Hobart from February 28 to March 2; the IBNA conference in Queenstown, New Zealand, from April 5-8; and the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters (AICLA) Australasian Claims Convention in Melbourne from April 28-30.

AICLA’s convention will examine the role of loss adjusters in emergencies, and will feature renowned UK claims expert and UN Commissioner or the Iraqi invasion Alan Clear as the keynote speaker.
