The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has opened nominations for the 2007 insurance industry awards across 12 categories.

CEO Joan Fitzpatrick says the awards serve to unite all sectors of the industry and celebrate its dedication to best practice and high achievement. Everyone from brokers and underwriters to law practitioners and service providers have the opportunity for their work to be recognised.

Interested individuals and companies have until May 4 to get their nominations in. ANZIIF will present the awards at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 2.
