Award recipients to explore key industry issues
This year’s winners of the Peter Corrigan International Exchange Awards will use their prizes to explore the issues of underinsurance and skill shortages.
David Chan of Guild Insurance and Lumley’s Claire Young each received $5000 to go towards study tours.
The award is a joint initiative of Deloitte Australia and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).
It is granted in memory of Peter Corrigan, one of the industry’s most respected figures, who worked in top roles at NRMA, as CEO at GIO Australia and as MD at Trowbridge Consulting before his sudden death in 2002 at the age of 46.
