APRA pathway for young scholars

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) will be offering scholarships to four students this year to promote research in the industry.

The Brian Gray Scholarships, valued at $12,500 each, are open to full-time honours and PhD students in finance, economics, actuarial science, econometrics, statistics and related disciplines.

Established in memory of APRA’s former Executive General Manager of Policy, Research and Consulting, the Brian Gray Scholarships have been running since 2002. Australian and New Zealand citizens or permanent residents can apply. Details are on www.apra.gov.au.
