APRA announces 2009 scholarships
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has named the recipients of four scholarships promoting financial sector research.
The Brian Gray Scholarships, valued at $12,500 each, are awarded to permanent residents of Australia and NZ studying topics relevant to prudential regulation.
Michael Donald and Andrew Ngai from the University of NSW join Macquarie University’s Luke Nichols and Florian Weltewitz of the University of Queensland as this year’s recipients.
Under the terms of the scholarship the four will study an agreed research topic.
Established in memory of APRA’s former Executive General Manager of Policy, Research and Consulting, the Brian Gray Scholarships have been running since 2002.
