Aon wins Hobart Ports contract

Aon Australia has won the three-year insurance tender for transport infrastructure company Hobart Ports Corporation (HPC). The win ends Marsh’s 34-year relationship with HPC.

In a bit of a backhander to its major competitor, an Aon statement says: “We don’t just buy insurance for our clients – we analyse our client’s insurance needs and provide a tailored assessment.”

HPC is responsible for the ports of Hobart and King Island as well as Hobart International Airport.
