ANZIIF names its top students
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has recognised seven of the industry’s best and brightest in its annual Student of the Year Awards.
The awards are presented to students who achieve the highest average result in each course and meet or exceed a “high distinction” grade of 86%.
ANZIIF GM Client Solutions Mark James says there are many bright, talented minds in the insurance industry and “there has never been a more important time to recognise outstanding achievement”.
The award winners were: Student of the Year – Certificate IV in Financial Services General Insurance, Prajakta Pande, State Insurance; Diploma of Financial Services Life Insurance, Catherine Bini, MetLife Insurance; Diploma of Financial Services Risk Management, Aleksandra Mikiewicz, Hostplus; Diploma of Financial Services Financial Planning, Georgina Nation, Portfolio Planning Solutions; Diploma of Financial Services Insurance Broking Joint Winners, Andrew Fleming, MGA Insurance Brokers and Laura Saliacos, Jardine Lloyd Thompson; Diploma of Personal Injury Management Workers’ Compensation, Suzanne Richardson, Westpac.
