ANZIIF launches how-to course for tradies
Service providers carrying out insurance repair work should have a better grasp of correct compliance procedures following the release of a new short course.
ANZIIF launched the course at the Claims Convention in Melbourne last week.
Education GM Steve Quirk told insuranceNEWS.com.au the three-hour internet-based program has the potential to improve service efficiency by 30%.
Topics include the insurance market and regulation, insurance contracts and policy, professional presentation and understanding claims processes.
“People that have been involved in the trials now realise what can compromise a claim,” he said. “That might be putting paper under the ute in the driveway or not wearing boots in the house.”
