ANZIIF extends training to Thailand
ANZIIF has introduced training programs in Thailand under a deal with the Thailand Insurance Institute.
Thai students can now study towards ANZIIF’s Certificate IV and Diploma of General Insurance, and next year the institute will offer qualifications in broking, life insurance, loss adjustment, risk management and financial planning.
An ANZIIF spokesman said the agreement allows the Thailand Insurance Institute to provide students with international-level qualifications.
ANZIIF, which is expected to shortly announce a merger with the UK-based Chartered Insurance Institute, has supplied its Thai students with bilingual learning material. Graduates will be eligible for professional membership to ANZIIF.
