ANZIIF award finalists announced
The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has announced the finalists for its 2007 awards.
Finalists for the Broker of the Year award are NZ broker Crombie Lockwood – which was recently acquired by Wesfarmers – and internationals Aon and Marsh. Those announced for General Insurance Company of the Year are NZ-based AMI Insurance, QBE and Suncorp.
Listed as finalists for Insurance Leader of the Year are recently retired Wesfarmers Insurance Division MD Bob Buckley, IAG CEO Mike Hawker, Suncorp CEO John Mulcahy, QBE Insurance CEO Frank O’Halloran, Sportscover CEO Peter Nash and former Promina CEO Mike Wilkins.
The winner in each category will be announced at the Insurance Industry Awards Gala at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre on August 2.
