AMP Life CEO Megan Beer is the new President of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF).

Ms Beer, who is also Head of Resolution Life Australasia, has been ANZIIF Deputy President since 2017 and takes over from Allan Reynolds, who has completed his two-year term. Tim Plant, CEO General Insurance Australia and New Zealand at Zurich, has been appointed Deputy President.

ANZIIF has also welcomed new board members Munich Re Australasia COO Simone Dossetor, IAG EGM Business Distribution Ben Bessell, and QBE Australia and New Zealand Chief Strategy Officer Fiona Hayes-St Clair.

Jonathan Seth, the head of JLT Australia’s public sector operations in WA, has been awarded honorary membership, while the annual ANZIIF service award went to ClearView MD Simon Swanson.
