Virgin Australia’s comprehensive domestic travel insurance product, underwritten by Allianz Global Assistance, has again won a five-star rating in Canstar’s annual travel insurance survey.

It is the third year in a row it has received the top mark from the independent agency.

The product covers cancellation fees, lost deposits, additional accommodation and travel expenses, loss or damage to luggage and personal effects, a travel delay allowance and rental vehicle excess.
