Major crop and forestry products underwriter Agricola has formed a multi-year agreement with Lumley General. Partner Re will substantially reinsure the portfolio.

Agricola MD Larry Scott said agricultural insurance “has suffered from a lack of consistency in recent years”, with a volatile market driven by swings in market capacity and price.
