Will former FAI MD and prominent HIH Royal Commission figure Rodney Adler face more charges over statements related to HIH share dealings? According to the Australian Financial Review, ASIC has submitted a brief to the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions detailing a case built on statements made by Mr Adler that he was personally paying for HIH shares when he was actually using money supplied by HIH.

Mr Adler is already appealing the results of a civil case brought against him by ASIC, which has seen him banned for 20 years from being a director and facing a fine of $9000 and a compensation payment to HIH creditors of $5.3 million.
