Laurie Treloar, the risk and asset manager of national broadcaster ABC, has been awarded ARIMA’s Risk Manager of the Year award.

Mr Treloar has worked for the ABC for the past 10 years and launched a corporation-wide risk management assessment three years ago, which identified the ABC’s 11 top risks.

The risk management program was approved by the ABC board last December, and Mr Treloar is now implementing it across the corporation’s radio and TV networks in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
