AAMI winning in the polls
The general insurance industry is looking pretty good in the eyes of consumers. An Investment Trends survey of more than 2300 policyholders which has found Promina subsidiary AAMI is the pick of Australia’s general insurers has plenty of positive things to say about the industry, too.
AAMI and other Promina brands achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
But the whole general insurance industry performed well in the survey. Its overall satisfaction levels rated fifth out of a list of nine commonly used financial services. General insurance customers were less satisfied than transaction account holders and stockbroking clients but happier than life insurance policyholders and those involved in funds management.
More than 75% of AAMI clients gave the insurer a “good” or “very good” rating, compared with the industry average of 62% – which is also pretty darned good.
