Zurich Life names executives to boost retail growth

Zurich Life & Investments has appointed several new executives to further drive retail growth across the Zurich and OnePath brands.

Jacqui Lennon takes the role of Head of Customer & Digital in February, unifying the Zurich and OnePath retail functions and improving execution of the dual brand strategy.

Ms Lennon joins from Allianz Retire+ where she headed product and customer experience. She has also held roles at Iress and Macquarie Group.

Kieran Forde has been appointed Chief Distribution Officer, replacing Kristine Brooks. Mr Forde joined Zurich in 2018 after more than two decades at ANZ, where he headed Wealth Solutions & Partnerships and Financial Planning.

Zurich has also appointed Shaneen Marshall as Head of Strategy, driving the company’s long-term strategy as a larger and integrated business since the acquisition of OnePath Life. She joined Zurich from TAL, where she was most recently integration insurance business director.

Daniel Longden rejoins Zurich as CFO this week. He was head of strategy & propositions at Zurich until June 2017, when he left to join KPMG. He has also held senior actuarial, finance and consulting roles at Asteron Life and Macquarie Group.

Zurich Life & Investments CEO Justin Delaney says the appointees will “help to drive Zurich’s commitment to offering high quality, differentiated products for our customers and partners, which is core to our strategy and the reason we continue to invest in the OnePath and Zurich retail brands”.
