Zurich hails ‘breakthrough’ self-service tool
Zurich has opened a self-serve customer portal for life, super and investment clients.
My Zurich will streamline simple client administration tasks, freeing advisers to focus on their clients. Any client-initiated updates will be quickly visible to advisers.
Clients can change their address and credit card details, and download tax statements and other policy-related documents.
“Life insurance is not always at the forefront of technology and customer experience, so this is a breakthrough,” a Zurich spokesman said.
Tim Howell, Head of Propositions for Zurich Life and Investments, said: “Clients now expect a convenient, simple self-serve experience across all their service providers.
“By offering the same accessibility and ease of use they enjoy in other areas, we’re hoping to improve the extent to which they engage with and appreciate the value of their life insurance.”
