Zurich Financial Services Australia has appointed a number of specialist underwriting managers in a bid to increase its focus on life risk.

It has appointed Warren Dewar as National Underwriting Manager to head up a new life strategy, and Head of Life Risk Chris Kirby says five new managerial positions will cover Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania.

“Zurich Australia is committed to its life risk business,” he said. “The launch of regional underwriting reinforces our commitment to provide advisers with the tools and services needed to make doing business easier.”
