Zurich Australia has announced three senior leadership appointments to its Life and Investments Group insurance team.

Francis Burgess will take up the newly created role of Head of Pricing Group Insurance, joining from TAL, where he held a similar job title.

Former Zurich head of group claims Jennifer Faglioni commenced last month as Head of Product, and former national sales manager of group insurance John Mirotsos started in June as Head of Partnerships.

The business is currently looking to recruit a Head of Member Engagement and Innovation and expects to fill the vacancy this month.

Zurich says the new appointments report to Head of Group Insurance Darren Wickham.

“Zurich is the largest retail insurer in Australia and is investing in its group insurance business,” Mr Wickham said.

“These appointments demonstrate our determination to be successful in the market.”
