XY Adviser will hold its first full-day conference in Sydney next month, to share innovative ideas among younger advisers.

The Modern Adviser event on November 12 will feature three sections covering advice, business management and technology.

XY Adviser co-founder Ray Jaramis says the conference is a step towards the group’s goal of creating opportunities for young advisers to share skills.

“The adviser, and in turn the client, is always front of mind at our events,” he said.

“Our presenters are almost exclusively passionate advisers who will be providing practical information about the modern techniques and strategies that are working for their business and clients right now.”

Mr Jaramis – Financial Life Manager with Treysta Wealth Management – says each session is designed to inspire advisers to do things differently.

“We see a real opportunity for young advisers like ourselves, to help each other out and… make a bigger difference to the lives of more [clients],” he said.

Conference partners include Zurich, CoreLogic, IOOF, Midwinter and Centuria Life.

Since starting last year, XY Adviser’s LinkedIn group has attracted almost 400 members.
