Wanted: an insurance ombudsman
The Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) is advertising nationally for a new general insurance ombudsman to fill the position left vacant by the sudden resignation of Sam Parrino in April.
Applicants have until July 29 to stake their claim for the board-appointed role that oversees a staff of about 50.
Chief Ombudsman Colin Neave took over the insurance role after the resignation of Mr Parrino, who had led Australia’s succession of general insurance resolution bodies for 16 years.
