Perth-based Capital Partners Private Wealth Advisers won two awards at the Financial Planning Association conference in Hobart last week.

It was named professional practice of the year, while its adviser Michael Hayward collected the coveted Certified Financial Planner professional of the year prize.

Patricia Soares Garcia of WB Financial in Brisbane won the Financial Planner AFP category and Adriana Brink of Mackay-based Alman Partners was paraplanner of the year.

University student of the year was Azaria Bell from Griffith University in Queensland.

Michael Forer from Next Level Financial Services in Melbourne won the Gwen Fletcher Memorial Award, and Reuben Zelwer of Adapt Wealth Management, also from Melbourne, took the Future2 Community Service Award.
