Helen Troup is leaving her position as Swiss Re head of life and health to become EGM at CommInsure.

It comes after CommInsure’s previous EGM Paul Rayson moved to run the CommSec division – a job he began today.

Before joining Swiss Re Ms Troup was CEO at ING New Zealand. She has also held senior roles at Asteron.

Commonwealth Wealth Management Group Executive Annabel Spring says Ms Troup is well regarded in the life industry and has shown she can drive business growth.

“Her extensive experience is reflected not only in the successful businesses she has led but also in her contribution to industry organisations across the financial services industry,” Ms Spring said.

“She has a proven track record in strategy, innovation, people leadership and operational excellence.”
