Trans-Tasman summit to focus on policy direction, consumer trends
The first Trans-Tasman Strategic Leaders Summit for the financial services sector is an opportunity to understand policy direction and consumer trends in Australia and New Zealand.
The Financial Services Councils (FSCs) of Australia and New Zealand had announced in June the forum will take place in Auckland from March 4-6 next year.
Regulators, politicians, economists and senior industry leaders will discuss the opportunities and challenges facing leaders of financial services organisations in 2024.
The event will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions and workshops, networking opportunities and a gala dinner.
Topics will include the future of financial advice regulation, the impacts of climate change on investing, sustainable retirement solutions, insurance and economic challenges.
“With this inaugural summit we are looking to build a Trans-Tasman Financial Services dialogue that shapes our common interests, and showcases the best thinking and innovation that helps to build a strong and cohesive community,” FSC New Zealand CEO Richard Klipin said.
FSC Australia CEO Blake Briggs says the program is tailored for senior financial services executives and will cover superannuation, insurance and financial advice, and bring industry leaders together for a “unique networking and thought-leadership experience”.
Early bird tickets for the event have been released.
