Tower Australia expects its new online insurance platform Accelerate to increase policy take-up rates.

The financial services company developed the platform after research revealed cumbersome application systems turn off would-be insurance buyers.

Tower Australia claims Accelerate delivers a response to 85% of applicants in its target market – 45 years and under – within three days.
