TAL waives payments for drought-hit farmers

TAL is waiving life insurance premiums for up to six months for farmers hit hard by the drought in NSW and Queensland.

Clients are eligible for the waiver if they qualify for the Federal Government’s Farm Household Allowance and live in a drought-declared area.

Customers of TAL’s InsuranceLine and Alliance partner products can also apply.

“This support will ensure farmers in drought-affected areas and their families can maintain the life insurance cover they need and provide some financial relief during this difficult time,” CEO and MD Brett Clark said.

Customers have until November 30 to apply for the waiver. For more details, email customerservice@tal.com.au.
