TAL has been named CoreData Risk Provider of the Year, with Macquarie Life in second place and Asteron third.

AIA and Zurich were commended in this year’s survey, which has been topped by Asteron in the previous three years.

CoreData’s poll of life insurers’ service examines areas such as new business underwriting, processing, post-sale administration and call centres, claims and business development support.

The research house’s Head of Advice Wealth and Super Kristen Turnbull says a strong focus on advisers and clients is the main driver of adviser satisfaction.

TAL Retail Life CEO Brett Clark says the award recognises the efforts of staff “who go out of their way on a daily basis to deliver products and services to advisers and customers”.
