TAL Risk Academy tops up offering
The TAL Risk Academy is offering 16 new courses this year, plus a new online learning management system to help advisers create more personalised programs.
The new courses cover superannuation and insurance advice, financial underwriting, health conditions, business management and building unique client value propositions.
Head of Licensees and Partnerships Beau Riley says the online learning management system will help advisers keep pace with evolving legislation and education requirements.
“The academy offers flexible learning options through on-demand webinars, face-to-face workshops or master classes, and our new online learning management system will make it easier for advisers to keep their learning plans in one place, with a learning dashboard where they can track their progress,” he said.
Advisers can obtain up to 100 continuing professional development points by completing the whole Risk Academy curriculum.
Courses and materials are accredited by the Association of Financial Advisers, the Financial Planning Association and the Tax Practitioners Board.
Most courses are free, with master classes charging a fee that is donated to charity. The organisation has raised more than $180,000 for the Australian Business and Community Network Scholarship Foundation.
