TAL has been named top life company in the Association of Financial Advisers/Plan For Life awards.

It also won the life insurance/total and permanent disability award and was a runner-up in the trauma, income protection and service quality awards.

CommInsure and Axa were runners-up for the life company of the year award. CommInsure won the income protection category while Axa won the trauma segment.

Zurich won the service quality award while Macquarie Life, BT and Remunerations Options won risk product innovations awards.
