The Financial Services Council has awarded its annual industry leader prize to TAL GM Group Insurance Jenny Oliver and CommInsure Senior Manager Rehabilitation Services Julie-Ann MacCormick.

Ashton Jones, Head of Investments, Retirement and New Propositions at TAL, took the young achiever prize at last week’s Life Insurance Awards gala in Sydney.

AMP won the direct life innovation category with its My Life product and the retail innovation award with its mental health training entry.

MLC’s LifeView group insurance digital platform won the award for innovation in group life.
