TAL Group CEO Brett Clark has joined the Financial Services Council (FSC) board.

He is also one of the board life committee chairmen.

Mr Clark previously ran TAL Life Australia and TAL Retail Life, and before joining the insurer he held a number of senior positions with AIA Australia.

FSC Chairman Greg Cooper says Mr Clark “brings a deep understanding of financial services to the FSC board that spans 20 years and covers life insurance and consulting”.

Other board members from the life insurance industry are Challenger CEO Brian Benari, AMP Group Executive of Insurance and Super Pauline Blight-Johnston, MLC CEO Andrew Hagger and AIA Australia CEO Damien Mu.
