TAL EGM of individual life Gavin Teichner will become CEO of individual life on October 1.

He takes over from Fiona Macgregor, who has been promoted to group CEO and MD. Mr Teichner has held several senior leadership positions since joining the life insurer in 2009. His current role covers product development and management, underwriting, pricing and data analytics.

“Gavin has an enormous breadth and depth of expertise across our direct-to-consumer and retail businesses,” Ms Macgregor said.

“He is a forward-thinking leader, with a strong focus on product sustainability and ensuring TAL is a great choice for more Australians.”
