NRMA Insurance is moving into the life market in a tie-up with TAL.

Under the arrangement, which was launched last week, NRMA Insurance offers life cover to its clients, with policies provided and managed by TAL.

NRMA Insurance CEO Andy Cornish says about 95% of Australians don’t hold adequate levels of life insurance.

“Our alliance with TAL allows us to address this by offering easy to understand and affordable life insurance, as well as greater access, because customers can purchase life insurance through all our existing sales channels,” he said.

TAL Direct CEO John Hoyle says the alliance is “a significant partnership” that will deliver seamless, high-quality service.
