TAL academy adds to training roster
The TAL Risk Academy is offering five new courses this year, including an industry-first LinkedIn masterclass and two new social media webinars.
It has also introduced “on-demand” learning, to let advisers access courses through the TAL Adviser Centre whenever suits them.
GM Retail Distribution Niall McConville says the sessions have received positive feedback, with advisers’ average rating for the course at 4.4 out of five.
“In its first year more than 4000 advisers registered for TAL Risk Academy courses,” he said.
“The program delivered a total of 169 sessions, including 112 webinars nationally, 15 essentials programs and 42 masterclasses presented by TAL technical experts, and a total of 59 continuing professional development points accredited to the program.”
The academy has also introduced an education stream focused on client engagement.
“This program will help advisers grow their businesses using modern sales and marketing tools,” Mr McConville said.
“This is aimed at helping advisers to thrive in an ever-changing landscape.”
