Swiss Re has named Lloyd Campbell-Gibson as Australia and New Zealand head of life and health.

The reinsurer says Mr Campbell-Gibson – who has been serving as US head of life and health claims – brings more than 30 years’ global insurance experience to the role.

“The Australia and New Zealand markets have always been an integral part of Swiss Re’s business, and we remain committed to bringing our knowledge and expertise to support our clients’ business aspirations,” head of life and health Asia-Pacific Daisy Ning said.

“We are confident that Lloyd’s extensive expertise and strategic vision will be a tremendous asset to the ANZ team.”

Interim head of life and health for Australia and New Zealand Michael Paff will become head of client management for life and health in Australia and New Zealand.
