Strong demand for financial planners
Demand for financial planners is on the rise, with a 62% increase in job ad numbers recorded in the past year, according to recruitment company eJobs.
In its latest quarterly commentary, eJobs says national job ad numbers fell 8.4% in July, in line with seasonal falls, but the three-month moving average rose by 14.4%.
Victoria and Tasmania recorded a 122% increase in the number of financial planning industry job ads in the 12 months to the end of July, and SA recorded a 118% increase.
WA wasn’t far behind with a 97% increase, followed by Queensland with a 63% increase and NSW/ACT with a 30% increase.
Demand overall was particularly strong for senior paraplanners and senior financial planners.
