Dealer group Securitor has launched an online reference guide detailing all the life products it offers to advisers.

Using a template provided by the group, insurers have provided information on their products and services such as underwriting and claims.

National Manager Insurance Melissa Crawford says the Securitor Edge system complements other advice tools such as ratings software and advice guides.

It “consolidates information that cannot be readily found in adviser guides or in comparator tools, giving advisers more time to spend with their clients. By strengthening and supporting advisers’ insurance product knowledge, the tool facilitates better client outcomes.”

The guide currently features seven insurers’ offerings.

“This tool significantly evolves insurance product comparisons,” Ms Crawford said.

“It makes accessing current product and insurance offering information easy, putting the focus back on the client relationship, where it should be.”
