French reinsurer Scor has appointed Paula Bourke as life and health CEO for Australia and New Zealand.

Ms Bourke was most recently deputy CEO for Australia and New Zealand and global head of proposition and innovation in the life and health business, according to her LinkedIn.

“With over 26 years in the insurance industry and eight years at Scor, Paula brings a wealth of experience to the role,” the company said. “Her strong technical expertise and deep knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand life and health markets are invaluable.

“We are confident that she is well equipped to excel in this new position.”

Ms Bourke joined Scor in 2016 as life and health strategic head of underwriting and claims, having previously worked at Westpac.
