RGA Reinsurance MD Pauline Blight-Johnston has resigned to join AMP as Director Wealth Protection and Mature Products.

She will start in May, replacing Ian Campbell, who will leave mid-year.

Ms Blight-Johnston led the RGA business in Australia and New Zealand, with leadership responsibilities in Japan and South Africa.

Before that she was CFO and appointed actuary of Asteron Life. She has also worked as a senior actuarial consultant for Tillinghast-Towers Perrin and as an investment banker for Morgan Stanley.

She is a Director of the Financial Services Council and the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
