Regulator bans ex-ANZ adviser
Former ANZ Financial Planning adviser Andrew TambyRajah has been banned for five years.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) says he created false documents and amended client files when employed by ANZ between January 2006 and July 2014.
He wrote clients’ names and initials on documents, changed the dates recorded on a number of documents and created false client profile forms for two clients by photocopying papers they had signed in previous years, the regulator says.
Mr TambyRajah was licensed to sell life insurance and was a certified financial planner, according to the ASIC adviser website.
He joined Suncorp Financial Services from March this year until his ban.
