AIA and CommInsure customers who have been affected by bushfires in Queensland and New South Wales will have their premiums waived, the insurer says.

The waivers will range from two to six months depending on the product. AIA will also replace lost or destroyed policy documents at no cost to the customer. Policyholders must contact AIA or CommInsure by February 28.

AIA has written to its adviser network about the offer.
