Policy specialist rejoins AFA
Former Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) COO Phil Anderson has rejoined the organisation as GM Policy and Professionalism.
He replaces Sam Clarke, who is to focus on her regtech business.
Mr Anderson left the AFA in 2015 to join platform provider Netwealth as GM governance and advice, leaving the role late last year.
More recently he has been consulting on financial services projects.
He will head the AFA policy and professionalism team, which includes recently appointed General Counsel Linda Vogel.
AFA CEO Phil Kewin says Mr Anderson has a “proven track record in the field of policy and professionalism. He has a passion for advice that we believe will help the AFA and its members take advice in Australia to the next level.”
