Peak body upgrades planner search tool
Financial Advice Association Australia says its Find a Planner tool has been given an improved user interface and profile pages.
The changes are designed to better match financial advisers with consumers, it says.
The tool now gives consumers more options to filter their searches, including by credentials, areas of specialisation and focus, languages spoken, gender and years of experience. There is also a keyword search that will pick up any words used in a member’s profile.
“Our members have told us greater engagement with consumers was something they would like to see from the FAAA,” GM membership Tania Milnes said.
She says the upgrade is the final step in the peak body’s digital transformation, which also includes a redesign of its Money & Life website.
“Money & Life offers insights and tips from FAAA members, and other experts, to help Australians take control of their financial future, as well as better understand the value of advice, while the Find a Planner tool will enable them to find the right adviser for them,” she said.
