Pacific Life Re has appointed Andrew Gill as MD of its Australian and Asian businesses.

Mr Gill is currently MD of the Australian operation, which he helped launch four years ago, and is a member of the global executive team. He is a former appointed actuary for RGA Reinsurance Company of Australia and a Munich Re manager, and helped introduce the underwriting technology UnderwriteMe to the local market.

He has more than 20 years’ experience in the life insurance industry.
