OnePath looks to support funds and members
ANZ Wealth has announced a series of initiatives linked to its OnePath business, in a bid to strengthen ties with superannuation funds and their members.
Actions include more resourcing for its mental health and wellness strategy, supporting the Life Insurance Code of Practice and the Insurance in Superannuation Working Group, and running health portal pilots for group schemes.
ANZ says the CaseWorks early claims engagement program and health coaching aim to make life insurance more engaging for clients and build trust and customer relationships. Remedy Healthcare’s health coaching helps clients reduce their loadings for blood pressure and body mass index, and has reported strong enrolment and a positive reaction from clients and advisers.
ANZ Head of Life Insurance Gerard Kerr says continued investment in OnePath is a priority.
“We have a clear direction for our OnePath solution and have identified a number of ways to positively support funds and their members,” he said.
“This is going to take time, but by putting a series of initiatives in place we can build on this work and better support clients through the changing [life insurance] landscape.”
