NSW's Terry Johnson wins AFA Great Advice award
Adviser Terry Johnson has won the 2021 Great Advice award for NSW/ACT, which was presented at the recent Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) Evolve conference.
NSW-based Mr Johnson is Director at Keyman Financial Services, a small family business established in 2009 operating in the Hawkesbury region. A member of Synchron, he has administered pro bono claims and was praised for always showing the “utmost care” to clients.
“Terry has many claim stories of which to be proud,” AFA National President Michael Nowak said while announcing Mr Johnson’s win.
The new awards acknowledge a “Great Advice story” delivered by a financial adviser, the AFA says, “one in which you helped one of your clients achieve a successful outcome demonstrating the financial, behavioural and emotional value your advice provided”.
The four other 2021 Great Advice award winners were: Queensland: Prosperity Planning Partners’ Gayle McKew, SA: Treehouse Financial Planning’s Simon Capp, Victoria: iCare Financial Advisory’s Adrienne Rush and WA: Integro Private Wealth’s Dawn Thomas.
