Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) Queensland director Michael Nowak has been elected President to succeed Brad Fox.

Mr Nowak is a financial adviser and director of financial advice practice Joe Nowak Financial Services Group. He is a former AFA Rising Star finalist and a former chairman of the Queensland chapter of the association’s GenXt wing. 

The board comprises President, Michael Nowak; VP, Marc Bineham; Treasurer, Brad Fox; COO, Phil Anderson; CEO, Richard Klipin.

The state directors are: NSW, Mark Hoskin; Victoria, Esther Althaus; Queensland, Susie Paterson; SA, Dave Slovenic; WA, Kenn Williams; Tasmania, Kevin Richardson.

Fraser Jack is the new GenXt National Chairman.
